There was a good turnout at the Indoor Championships today with 32 archers shooting.
A big thank you to our Lady Paramount Pam Clarke, our Field Captain Karen Fountaine and not forgetting the organiser Mike North.

Sway Bowmen Indoor Championships 2012
February 12 th 2012 10.00am to 2.00pm
Seniors £3 Juniors no charge
The round is a Portsmouth, 5 dozen arrows at a 60cm face shot in ends of three. There will be a short break
after 2½doz. There are open and handicap trophies.
After the shoot there will be a raffle while the results are being sorted. If you have anything for the raffle could
you please give to either Sandie Baigent or myself.
Dress Code: Green/White (either of the club tops is acceptable).

(This is to allow time to create all the forms and obtain medals)
If you hold a trophy from the 2011 championships can you please ensure that it is engraved and then either
returned to Mike North before the 12 th February or brought along on the day.

Three archers travelled to Gosport to take part in The Royal Navy and South Coast Archers Indoor Tournament at HMS Collingwood on Saturday 7th January. A Fita 18 round was shot (5doz arrows on a 40cm).
Philip Graham shooting a recurve bow scored 467 placing him second junior boy. Paul Graham also shooting a recurve bow scored 463 and Sandie Baigent shooting a Longbow scored 222 placing her 2nd Lady Longbow. |

We had 14 archers shooting the Chapatti Shoot this year and there were ample supplies of mulled wine to keep us warm thanks to Steve. Not that we needed keeping warm as the weather was very kind to us.
