26 people competed in the Outdoor Championships today. It was a bit blustery at times but everyone stuck with it.
Congratulations to all the medal winners and a big thank you to our Lady Paramount Yvonne John, our Field Captain and Judge Karen Fountain and not forgetting Steve the organiser.

On Saturday 22nd September The Hampshire County Longbow Championships were held at Eastleigh. A Double two way National ( 4doz at 60yds and 2doz at 50yds twice) was shot on a nice Sunny day. Adrian Jones scored 343 with 71 hits and 361 with 71 hits making a total of 704 with 142 hits giving him most hits and 1st place as Hampshire Longbow Champion. Sandie Baigent also shot with a score of 159 with 37 hits and 103 with 29 hits making a total of 262 with 66 hits.

This is a reminder that Indoor Shooting starts on Wed 10th October at New Milton Recreation Centre. Please be ready to go into the hall at 8:00pm prompt.
Outdoor shooting on Wednesday evenings finishes on the 26th September.

The Annual Knockout Tournament (Handicap based) was well underway when the rain came in and stayed persistent to the end of the
event...16 very wet archers shot for the Silver Arrow trophy, those archers defeated in the 1st round went on to
shoot for the Silver plate.
Ben Thorpe (Junior Recurve) beat Chris Organ (Junior Recurve) to secure the Trophy by 10 points.
Howard Jasper (Senior Recurve) beat Adam Hackett (Senior Recurve) by 8 points to win the Plate.
