Congratulations to Chris Baigent on winning the National Clout Championships yesterday. Other Hampshire archers Dicky Summers and Michelle Loxley also won their classes and Alan Holder and Roz Summers came 2nd.

On Sunday 14th October 10 Sway Bowmen travelled to Bishops Waltham to take part in the Agincourt Arrow Tournament run by Merdon Bowmen. It was succesful day with one 1st, two 2nd and one 3rd place. A nice Sunny day but with a chilly breeze.
A Long Western was shot by all (4doz arrows at 80yds and 4doz at 60yds)
Adrian Jones shooting Longbow scored 356 placing him 1st Gent Longbow
Sandie Baigent (Longbow) scored 160 placing her 2nd Lady Longbow
Trevor Chalk shooting Recurve scored 704 placing him 2nd Gent Recurve
Bryan Golden Shooting Compound scored 778 placing him 3rd Gent Compound.
Other results were Chris Stoneham (Recurve) 638, Steve Humphrey (Recurve) 591, Adam Hackett (Recurve) 418, Howard Jasper (Recurve) 315,Charlotte Warne (Lady Recurve) 414 and Jeremy Ingledew (Compound) 705.

Charlotte Warne won the Lady County Clout championships today at Exbury scoring 110 with 50 hits and 1clout. Pretty good for her first year in shooting and her first Clout shoot.
