As the outdoor target season comes to a close, the clout season starts up. This year, we had a few new Sway members try their hand at clout shooting.
Amongst them was young James Vickery who took part in the Hampshire FITA clout on Saturday 5th October and then the following week travelled to Lytchett to shoot in their FITA clout on Saturday 12th Octoboer - part of their Vic Skeats Memorial Clout weekend.
On both occasions, James went home with the Gold medal for his age group. And, at Lytchett, he also went home with a trophy too!
Well done James - a fantastic effort and I know your Dad is very proud of you!

Congratulations to Adrian Jones on becoming the Club's first senior Grand Master Bowmen. Well done Adrian, you deserve it for all the practicing you put into your shooting.
Adrian is also the 2013 Hampshire Longbow Champion after the HAA Champs shoot on the 28th Sept.

23 archers took part in this years knockout tournament.
The weather was perfect and most matches were very close.
Agneta was victorious in winning the main event, a fabulous Silver arrow trophy.

We are relocating to Brockenhurst College this winter for our indoor shooting sessions.
The sessions are on Wednesday Evenings from 19:00 to 21:00 starting on the 9th October.
Entrance to the sports hall is via North Road which is the turnoff alongside the Rose and Crown.
Greens/Whites to be worn on League nights and Sundays!
