16 archers attended the event on Sunday.
Weather conditions were perfect with bright sunshine and no wind.
Congratulations go to Imogen for winning the Main event 'Trophy' and to Norman for winning the Runners up 'Silver Plate'.

Sway bowmen did well at the County Longbow Championships last weekend taking first place in the team event. Well done Adrian, Greg and Mick.
Adrian was on form and is the Hampshire Longbow Champion and Sandie also did well finishing 3rd Lady.

This years club championships were well attended with 43 archers taking part. The day started off foggy but that lifted and the sun came out for the rest of the day.

Three social events are planned for the club. These are as follows:
1. A Skittles night on Thursday 23rd October to be held at Hoburne Bashley New Milton. This is a fun night and has been popular in the past. The evening includes a fish and chip supper or similar served half way through . The event will start at 7.00 for a 7.30 kick off. There will be a bar available throughout the evening. There will be a max of 6 per team. Please let Derek Jordan know if you are coming as soon as possible certainly no later than 15th October.to ensure menu choices are submitted to Hoburne
2. A Quiz Night on Friday 21st November to be held ar St Lukes Church rooms Station Road, Sway. This will be a 7.00pm for 7.30 pm start. A supper will be served during the evening. Bring your own drinks . There will be a max of 6 per team. Again please let Derek Jordan know as soon as possible but certainly no later than 14th November to allow for menu choices.
3. The Club’s 30th anniversary dinner. This is being arranged at Hoburne Bashley in New Milton on Saturday 7th February 2015. The Menus will be sent to you as soon as you have expressed an interest. We have decided ro mark the occasion by making this a black tie do. I is anticipated that the cost will be in the region of £30.00 per head. Expressions of interest as soon as possible please’
