Planning Application

The club received some good news today, our planning application for an additional storage container at the field has been approved . Geoff Walker represented the club at the planning meeting and our case was supported by local councillors. The approval was given provided that we paint the container green on all sides and improve the shrub barrier to hide it from the road. A big thank you to Geoff. We also have to thank Geoff for providing two new target stands for the permanent butts. These will be commissioned in the next week or two.

2010 Indoor Championships

Yesterdays Indoor Club Championships was well attended with 39 members shooting. As this was the first time that we have run the shoot during the daytime on a Sunday, we would like your views about doing the same next year. The overall scores seemed to be up a bit on last years so perhaps you were not so tired after working all day! Click here to download the results.

2009 Chapatti Shoot

We had another good turnout for this years Chapatti Shoot despite the cold strong wind. Pete supplied the mulled wine which kept us warm for a while and the Christmas leftovers went down well. Trevor won the Gents Cap, Cis won the Ladies Waistcoat and Nick won the Wellie Boot. Some of those arrows in the target are Geoffs!
